1. Tulipa hypanica (Tulipa hypanica Klokov et Zoz)

Tulipa hypanica (Tulipa hypanica) - is a species from the Lily family (Liliaceae). A perennial herbaceous plant. The stem is raised and bent at the top, 15-35 cm high. The onion is egg-shaped with dark (older), and brown (young), covering scales. The leaves are linear-lanceolate with a sharp apex, mostly directed obliquely upward, bluish on top. The flowers are single, pale yellow. The fruit is a box. It blooms in April and bears fruit in May. It multiplies with seeds and bulbs. The plant is light-loving, moderately drought-resistant. Occurs in thickets of steppe shrubs, real and rocky steppes, on delamination of limestones and granites.

The species is listed in the Red Book of Ukraine in the status of "Vulnerable", endemic to Ukraine.
