1. Astrodaucus (Astrodaucus littoralis) - is a species from the Celery family (Apiaceae). Biannual herb with a branched bare stem 40–100 cm high. The root leaves in the outline are wide triangular, with long petioles; the plate is repeatedly feather-cut into linear particles; the stem leaves are smaller, the upper ones are sedentary. Umbrellas 10-18 beam; no wrapper. The petals are white. The fruits are elongated-oval, with 5–6 rows of spines growing together. It blooms in June-July, bears fruit in July-August. The plant is propagated by seeds. It grows on sands, pebbles, salt marshes, limestone seashores with variable moisture regime and moderate salinity.
The species is listed in the Red Book of Ukraine in the status of "Vulnerable", endemic to Ukraine. Black Sea endemic species.
