Biodiversity conservation is one of the important areas of work of the Regional Landscape Park. That is why RLP employees joined the joint environmental initiative of DTEK TYLIGULSKA WES LLC and took part in the installation of special houses for bats.
Bats are an integral part of natural ecosystems. These amazing animals play an important role in maintaining the natural balance, destroying a large number of insect pests and contributing to the health of the environment. Unfortunately, due to the loss of natural shelters, the cutting down of old trees and other factors, many bat species require additional support from humans.
The installed houses will become a safe haven for them, a place to rest and raise offspring. Such measures are an important contribution to the preservation of bat populations and support of the biological diversity of our region.
